i heard adderall is given to meth users as a way to ween them off the meth so they can continue to function in life without using meth. The brain becomes used to being artificallly stimulated and when you stop using you no longer have energy and become really lethargic and depressed. People who still have jobs and need to continue functioning will struggle without the drug so adderall is a replacement that isnt europhic like the meth but gives energy. I was wondering if there is any other new treatments or drugs out there now that anyone knows of to help a person ween themselves off the meth? If anyone has heard of anything new please let me know. Thanks

 Seems to me that taking adderall while trying to recover from meth would increase the risk for a relapse. Its just trading one addiction for another.
