Meth labs: Do you agree with news reports?

The number of meth labs dropped when pseudoephedrine was put behind pharmacy counters in 2005. Recent news reports, however, say that meth lab problem is growing once again in many areas of the country, because of the down turn in the economy.  Other reports say that meth labs have virtually disappeared in other areas. Which is true where you live? Would you say that news reports in your area are accurate?

Meth Labs seem to be increasing in number again judging by the number of busts in the KY-TN-GA area where I am most familiar.  I do believe it is in part due to the downturn in the economy.  The One-Pot method has become very popular for manufacuture and can be done with minimal materials.

I would have to say that here in Sacramento it is the same but the product is more crystal meth only, no more white or yellow!
