    4 year old meth

I have some rental property that I have now found out had some meth chemicals in it 4 years ago. Would there still be residue there now? I need to test it for new tenants even though there have been different tenants in there since 2005. This is a government subsized house so they are requiring me to get it certified that there is no meth. What is the best way to go about a test. I checked with one guy and he wants $700 to test. Are there any law enforcement agencies that test for u? Are the swipe tests good. Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks

    Re: 4 year old meth

I would beware a situation of shelling out $700 before knowing EXACTLY what your State calls for as far as acceptable PPM - I think the lowest is 50 - but am NOT in my element here.

(Remembering an episode of King of the Hill and the MOLD situation)

Next would be to call whomever passes as HOUSING WORKS or who handles Section 8 and ask what is acceptabe as testing - as if you'll google Methamphetamine Residue Testing you will see you have numerous counter offers WAY LESS than that quote.

I'd be assuming that - like everything else these days - so long as the RESULT from the testing/s is under the acceptables (maybe spring for 3 different types - PEN, SWAB, and DRIP?)

It will then be in how the paperwork is written up.
